Complete Thievery / Legerdemain guide (with statistics, images, how much money can you earn)

Complete Thievery / Legerdemain guide (with statistics, images, how much money can you earn)
Before we begin - note that all numbers displayed in this thread are results of experiments. With over 1800 pickpockets, 300+ safeboxes and 3000+ items stolen from the container just for the purpose of this guide, I believe these numbers are fairly accurate. The exact item distribution might be slightly different in Zenimax code due to luck factor.
The reason I'm writing this guide is because I had no idea how Legerdemain skill affects item quality. I felt the items were a bit better with higher skill, but had no solid proof, so I begun a series of experiments with characters of different levels and legerdemain skill and marked everything down in my notebook. Note: I do not own Thieves guild DLC, so I do not know if this skill line affects loot.
Most people swear by daily crafting writs, and while that really is an extremely good money-making method (4600 gold in 5-10 minutes per character sounds nice), thieving can really match it, especially for newer players (since as you will see, most of the thievery depends only on Legerdemain, and not player levels), as low level players get very little gold from crafting quests.

Safeboxes

There are 4 different levels of safeboxes: Simple, Intermediate, Advanced and Master. While higher ones are harder to open, I have not actually noticed any change in the items they drop.
Each safebox (unrelated to level of safebox) drops gold based on character level. Fortune seeker) (passive champion skill, available at Rank 10 Shadow tree) increases gold received this way by 50%. Character with Fortune seeker will find 106 gold at level 50 in a safebox.
Aside from gold, each safebox contains a stolen item of green or blue quality (and maybe purple, but I haven't encountered it while making this guide).
There is another passive champion skill - Treasure Hunter) which should increase the quality of all locked chests by 1 (simple chest awards you with intermediate loot; Intermediate chests award you with advanced loot, and so on). However, in my experiments this skill made absolutely no changes. Half of the safeboxes I opened were with this skill on, yet item quality percentages remained the same in all cases. This might have something to do with the following:
Safebox levels made no difference in item quality either! While I expected Master safebox to have better chance of getting blue items, this did not happen. From 304 safeboxes I opened, I have received 239 green items and 112 blue items. This puts us at following percentages:

  • 68% chance of getting a green
  • 32% chance of getting a blue
  • about 15% chance of getting two items at once (any combination)
This percentage was true for all safebox levels individually (+/- 1-2 percent). I don't know if this was intentional, a bug, or simply bad luck on my part.

  • At character level 4, safebox yields 194 gold on average.
  • At character level 50, safebox yields 278 gold on average.

Pickpocketing

There are three levels of pickpocketing difficulty based on type of NPC: Easy, Normal, Hard. You can differentiate them based on % chance of success, displayed in the link I provided. You can only pickpocket an enemy 3 times before they become empty.
Note: Since pickpocketing increases Legerdemain skill quite rapidly, and with very low base chances of success at low Legerdemain levels, I could not reliably test this aspect of thievery with a low Legerdemain level character. I found out based on my results so far is that level of this skill DOES affect quality of items looted, but to what degree, I cannot say.
Level of character does not affect quality of pickpocketing loot. Level of Legerdemain skill does (see above). There is quite a noticeable difference in the quality of items dropped between different NPC difficulties at max level Legerdemain. Characters of all difficulties can drop white, green, blue quality items (and possibly purple, though I haven't encountered them either during making of this guide), as well as lockpicks, recipes, food, and a few additional things.
Something I have noticed is that each successive pickpocket on the same person has better chance of awarding you with higher quality loot. Blue items dropped on second or third attempt more often than on first. I have summed up all items dropped in each category and divided by number of said items to find the following:
Easy Difficulty (Laborers, Beggars, Artisians, Fishers,...)
  • First pickpocket yields 68 gold on average
  • Second pickpocket yields 77 gold on average
  • Third pickpocket yields 80 gold on average*
Normal Difficulty (Commoners, Scholars, Warriors, Sailors,...)
  • First pickpocket yields 68 gold on average
  • Second pickpocket yields 83 gold on average
  • Third pickpocket yields 117 gold on average
Hard difficulty (Guards, Outlaws, Smiths, Watchmen, Bards, Nobles, Priests,...)
  • First pickpocket yields 99 gold on average
  • Second pickpocket yields 113 gold on average
  • Third pickpocket yields 130 gold on average
\This particular number might be skewed - While I was doing Easy difficulty targets, I started off by doing Rob-Rob-Kill routine when I could, and going Rob-Rob-Rob when I couldn't kill the target for whatever reason. I noticed that I gained higher quality items on average when I robbed 3 times. I have not tested this further yet, so I continued tests with Rob-Rob-Rob (-kill) technique on Normal and Hard difficulty targets. Killing instead of robbing may or may not reduce loot quality.*
This puts us at following:
  • Easy Target = 225 gold total on average
  • Normal Target = 268 gold total on average
  • Hard Target = 343 gold total on average
At Legerdemain level 20 and Character level 50, this means that Normal Target will yield almost as much gold as an average safebox! The advantage safebox has over pickpocketing is that 106 gold will be added to your inventory directly, and you will only receive 1 item to sell rather than 3. When given a choice, you should loot safeboxes if you have the time and nerves to compete with others (and only one character, thus limited fencing number), and just pickpocket people otherwise.
One exception to everything above are Guards. Guards are considered hard difficulty NPC's, therefore it's rather difficult to rob them without raising an alarm, plus you will have to flee if you fail, since they are immortal. However, guards are the most profitable targets, as they have a very large chance to replace white item with Polished Shilling (Abah's watch crafting ingredient, can be sold for ~100 gold on EU/PC instead of ordinary 40 gold white item), and they have a very small chance to drop a golden Wanted poster (worth between 3000-4000 gold on EU/PC).
Some other characters drop items based on their profession (you can get soul gem from a mage for example).
Failing a pickpocket will put your target on alert, preventing you from pickpocketing them again for around 60 seconds. Empty targets will automatically replenish in 15-30 minutes, or when they die.
u/DinoZavr notes the following in comment section: Vvardenfell NPCs have a chance of providing one of 3 houses motif pages (which are 5..8K at PC EU) and some specific NPCs have green/blue furnishing plans which are available from pickpocketing only.

Classic Thievery - Stealing items from containers

Quality of items is not dependent on character level. Loot quality found in containers differs A LOT between Legerdemain levels. A lot of chests randomly spawn empty, or contain lockpicks. All chests that actually contain something that can be sold have quality distribution as following:
Legerdemain level 1
  • White quality - 77.2% chance
  • Green quality - 14.6% chance
  • Blue quality - 0.45% chance
  • Equipment - 6.4% chance (quality of equipment does not change with Legerdemain level, 20% to get green equipment at all times)
  • Furnishing - 1.35% chance
Legerdemain level 10
  • White quality - 68.2% chance
  • Green quality - 22% chance
  • Blue quality - 2.2% chance
  • Equipment - 6.2% chance
  • Furnishing - 1.4% chance
Legerdemain level 20
  • White quality - 45.5% chance
  • Green quality - 37.7% chance
  • Blue quality - 5.1% chance
  • Purple quality - 0.5% chance
  • Equipment - 9.83% chance*
  • Furnishing - 1.37% chance
I do not know when purple items start to appear. The first one I found was on legerdemain level 14 a long time ago. They can probably appear sooner, at an abysmal rate. During the testing, I have found 3 purple items at level 20 Legerdemain - Bone fragments from the spine of Ashpit, Vial of Ashpit air and The Ruby Paragon.
The average amount of gold per non-empty container that has white, green, blue, purple item or equipment is as follows:

  • Legerdemain level 1 - 50.35 gold per such container on average
  • Legerdemain level 10 - 59.34 gold per such container on average
  • Legerdemain level 20 - 82.5 gold per such container on average
NOTE: The section above dealt with only quality of loot in general, and not for each type of container. I also ignored recipes, lockpicks, empty containers and so on while doing this research just to show how higher legerdemain increases chance of green, blue and purple items at the expense of white items. The far more accurate price per container is found bellow.
Upon further research, I've noticed that many containers provide different kinds of loot - ie. you are far more likely to find ingredients in barrels, crates, sacks and cupboards than anywhere else. You are unlikely to find weapons in cabinets, barrels, crates, sacks and cupboards, and so on. I have started another research and here are results based on 1400 stolen items with percentage chances of each drop:
Average worth refers to the average price of all items found inside such crates. It is affected by everything, including chance of said container to be empty. Blue-Green worth refers to average price of all items found inside if you only collect blue and green items as to avoid reaching daily fencing limit. I will update this statistic once I have higher sample size.
This data shows that you should try to find houses with high amounts of dressers, cabinets, desks and wardrobes if you are going for blue-green runs, otherwise any place that doesn't have prevalence of barrels, crates and sacks does the trick.
For ingredient farming, barrels, sacks, crates, and cupboards are the best.
There is a very small chance to get a high-quality recipe or motif / blueprint in containers you can steal from. This is because such containers are very diluted with huge amounts of stolen items. If you are after blueprints and such, you will have much better luck in containers that are available to you (aka non-owned, non-stealable).
While container stealing is the absolute fastest way to reach fencing limit, and most reliable + safest way, you can earn far more money by running safebox routes or pickpocketing hard difficulty targets.
At level 20 legerdemain, since your ability to get green and blue items surpasses appearance of white items through combined means of pickpocketing, safeboxes and simple stealing, you can safely ignore white items and head for green / blue mix for a lot more cash, or full blue items if you have the time.

A common sight after a 30 minute run, when you get to Legerdemain level 20.

How to level up Legerdemain

Leveling this skill is quite fast in the beginning as you only need 40 experience to reach level 2. However, this turns into an awful grind as just getting from 19 to 20 takes 400 experience! I have no idea of the total amount of experience needed, but it can still technically be achieved in one day (although you really shouldn't try to).

  • Fencing (selling) a stolen item = +1
  • Laundering an item at fence = +1
  • Pickpocketing an Easy target = +1
  • Pickpocketing a Normal target = +2
  • Pickpocketing a Hard target = +4
  • Opening a Simple lock = +1
  • Opening an Intermediate lock = +2
  • Opening an Advanced lock = +4
  • Opening a Master lock = +8 (I think, I will have to check this one again)
Note: Forcing locks open does not give you experience.
From my experience, the absolute fastest way to level up is to just keep running Safebox routes in cities. The link contains locations of every single safebox in all major cities. If you are lucky and there are no people around, you can take tons of safeboxes (look at Vulkhel Guard for example, there are 15 lootboxes that give up to 54 Legerdemain skill for simply opening, plus at least 15 more for selling all the loot in there; Pretty much any city works for this). Know that this is the absolute best scenario, in truth a lot of people are running these routes, so it is quite difficult to get a perfect safebox city run. Try picking cities that are unpopulated. It is possible to entirely level up Legerdemain to the max in one day by just using this.
If you don't have patience to deal with others and don't want to deal with trespassing, head to Daggerfall, Glenumbra and find these ships:

https://preview.redd.it/4bk03dyg2lj51.jpg?width=450&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=ac3d9102430f84315408535db5eb8850ce191d44
Those ships are completely unguarded, you don't even have to sneak while inside. Each ship has 2 cabins, and a whole section in the middle (none of them are connected so you have to enter separately). Take EVERYTHING inside, including ingredients, lockpicks, and style materials. After you have completely looted those, just head to the Outlaws Refuge (just east of the ships) and launder 0-15 gold items, while fencing everything else. Repeat this after 15-20 minutes (it takes that long to respawn containers) until you fill up fencing and laundering slots.
At legerdemain 17 you gain +50% pickpocket chance, which makes pickpocketing the best way to move up to 20. You can get 12 legerdemain in 10 seconds by successfully pickpocketing any hard target.

How much money can you earn through thievery daily?

Maximum number of fenced items daily is 140 with maxed Legerdemain skill tree. At level 20 Legerdemain, you will find blue items quite often, and it is not uncommon for you to skip white and green items in favor of blue ones (if your time allows it). That means you can gain up to 35.000 gold daily per thieving character from fencing. This number can be vastly different if you hunt safeboxes instead, as a third of money gained from them does not affect fencing limit, or if you happen to find purple items (worth 1500 gold) or wanted posters (worth 3000-4000 gold).
This can be a bit time consuming of course depending on your luck, but at higher legerdemain levels you should ignore white items anyway and just head for green / blue combination. With green items alone, you will earn 14.000 gold per character daily.
Of course, the exact number will be somewhere in between, and will fluctuate every day. You should expect about 18000 daily for 40 minutes of work. Here is the run I usually do and have found to be effective:

Anvil Castle (Requires Dark Brotherhood DLC) - each run through here nets me about 50-90 items and takes 10-25 minutes depending if I rob-rob-kill or just kill and loot.
If you prefer safebox hunting, bear in mind that most cities have at least 5-6 safeboxes, but can contain up to 26 safeboxes (Wayrest, Stormhaven)! If you do a perfect Wayrest run, you will net 7200 gold on average, at ANY level of Legerdemain.
By far the most profitable (and most luck-dependent) thing to do is to pickpocket guards. Since hard difficulty pickpocket targets are worth 343 gold on average, you'd have to pickpocket them 63 times to reach Wayrest level of safeboxes. Bear in mind that you are likely to find a gold Wanted poster worth 3000-4000 gold from doing this, and 40 gold white items are often replaced with Polished Shilling worth 100 gold, so average you get from a guard is far higher than that (probably around 400 gold on average)!
Of course, you shouldn't resort to a single method. There are many places in the world where you can do all three at the same time, and come out filthy rich.

How to farm full blue items?

If you have plenty of time and want to maximize your daily fencing limit, you need to skip white and green items, and hunt blue items only. Taking from everything I've written above, we have the following chance of blue items appearing:

  • Containers - 5.1% chance
  • Safebox - 32% chance
  • Normal difficulty 2nd pickpocket - 5% chance
  • Normal difficulty 3rd pickpocket - 18% chance
  • Hard difficulty 2nd pickpocket - 16% chance
  • Hard difficulty 3rd pickpocket - 24% chance
Farming hard difficulty targets yields 40% chance of acquiring a blue item total but is the most dangerous way to go, as you can rack up quite a bounty if you get caught. We don't want that, as it completely contradicts the money we've earned by going for full blue items. If you have multiple thief characters, you could alternate between them and simply wait for the bounty to fade away.

Acquiring Furnishing from thievery

I have not delved into this area, but thankfully u/HrabiaVulpes in the comments section has provided the following info:
Many furnishings can be obtained through pickpocketing specific targets. So if you like furnishing your homes you may look into pickpocketing specific people.
Some examples I noticed:
  • Drunkards - mugs, bottles
  • Fishers - fishes, fishing rods
  • Guards - bounty sheets
  • Cultists - skulls
  • Outlaws - dice
Stealing from desks will also fill your furnishing storage with personal letters, ink, quills and signed contracts.
Here is also a link on more pickpocketing-related furnishingprovided by u/benevolentbowd in the comments.

How to create thieving character?

Best thieves are Khajiit. They gain 3 meter detection radius decrease with their passive racial abilities, and also +5% pickpocket chance! This further helps with pickpocketing guards.
Best class by far is Nightblade. Your shadow cloak ability is a godsend and it's very, very difficult and time consuming to try and do this without it. Your veiled strike upgrade, Concealed Weapon, makes you move faster when invisible and sneaking.
Best DLC to have is Dark Brotherhood. Thieves guild DLC adds nice repeatable quests which will increase your gold generation for sure, but Blade of Woe is a must for any stealthy character as it considerably increases your clearing speed and reduces chance of detection. They can't detect you if they are dead hehe. Not only that, but you also get a Shadowy Supplier who provides you with free daily Counterfeit Pardon Edicts (they instantly remove 500 bounty from you). Thieves guild dailies also provide Counterfeit Pardon Edicts.
I also recommend being a vampire for Dark Stalker and Unnatural Movement passive abilities. The first one (combined with previously mentioned concealed weapon) makes you pretty much move faster when invisible than when you can be seen, and the second one helps SO MUCH when you are being chased by guards. Just run in a straight line and you will become invisible plus outrun their visibility shot.
The best item sets for a thief are:
  • Night's Silence - if you cannot become a vampire, this will be very helpful.
  • Night Mother's Embrace - very useful for avoiding detection, especially when you are safebox hunting and invisibility can't help you.
  • Night Terror) - same as above, but required effect needs only 3 items instead of 5!
  • Vesture of Darloc Brae - With this, nightblade can be permanently invisible without ever running out of mana. If you are going 3 piece Night Terror, get 4 piece Darloc for sneak bonus and you can fit in another full set.

Closing

I hope you enjoyed this guide and found it helpful! If you have any questions, or would like me to test something out, feel free to mention it in the comment and I'll do my best to reply.

Top Microgaming Casino Promotion

All four parts of the $1600 bonus comes with a 50x wagering requirement.
However, unlike other 2020 casino bonuses in Canada, the requirement only applies to the 1600 bonus amount, and not to the original deposit. You can use credit cards and prepaid cards for your deposit. Before you use a prepaid debit card, you simply need to load money onto it from one of your bank accounts. Bank transfers and credit and debit cards are a bit more common way to deposit funds.
List of Wagering Percentages for various games:
  • 100%: Slots, keno, and scratch card games
  • 10%: All Online Blackjack Games (excluding Classic)
  • All Video Poker Games (excluding all Aces Poker)
  • 2%: Classic Blackjack, and All Aces Video Poker
  • 0%: Baccarat, Casino War, Craps, Red Dog, Online Roulette, Sic Bo, Table Poker
These numbers are typical for Microgaming casinos. In their top online casino software, it’s normal that slot and scratch and win real money games contribute 100% and everything else little to nothing. After you’ve met the wagering requirements, you can cash out your winnings at any time. The fastest way to clear the bonus wager is to play online slots.
Overall this promotion has the best match-up percentages available at any casino of Jackpot City’s quality. The only Microgaming casino to seriously challenge Jackpot City’s match bonus are Spin Casino and Ruby Fortune, two online casinos also owned by City View Group.

Are you ready to take a closer look at Spin Casino?

And it’s not just you — the name reminds us of another casino too — Spin Palace. The crazy thing is that it’s not just a coincidence. Spin Casino is owned and operated by the same company that owns and operates Spin Palace.
The name isn’t the only thing these two casinos have in common, though. They also have a similar, if not identical, casino. The games, graphics, and stakes are alike.
If playing at identical casinos isn’t your cup of tea, we totally understand. There are tons of unique places to play online. You can browse our review section and find dozens of them.
However, if this doesn’t bother you, then the upside is that you know that you can expect a high-quality and enjoyable experience at Spin Casino.
That said, we aren’t about to rest on our laurels just because Spin Casino is similar to its sister casinos. This is why we still reviewed Spin Casino with the same scrutiny we do when we review other casinos.
This means our review below includes both the good and the bad information that we found. It means we didn’t take money for a fluffy review or inflated rating. And it also means that we’re going to tell you exactly what you need to hear so that you can decide whether Spin Casino is the right site for you to join.
If that sounds like a review that you want to read, then we have good news for you — it starts in the next section

Spin Casino Basic Information

Spin Casino has a license with the Malta Gaming Authority and Kahnawake Gaming Commission. They’re licensed under the names Bayton Ltd and Baytree Ltd.
Bayton Ltd and Baytree Ltd are both managed by The Palace Group. There’s a good chance that you’ve heard of The Palace Group, or at least heard of or played at one of their brands. Some of the other brands they operate include Spin Palace, Ruby Fortune, and Mummy’s Gold.
The Palace Group has been in business a long time, too — since 2001. This means that they’re getting close to their 20th anniversary online, which is light years compared to other casinos.
Between their time in business and their gaming licenses, you can feel comfortable playing at any of their brands. This includes Spin Casino.

The Casino

In the following sections, we’re going to look at Spin Casino’s games. That way, you can get an idea of the games they offer so that you can decide if they’ll be a good fit for you.
Unlike most casinos nowadays, Spin Casino uses only Microgaming software for its animated casino games. There’s nothing wrong with this. It’s just that you won’t have the game or graphics variety that you will have at casinos that work with multiple software providers.
Trust us, though; this casino is plenty good enough. Spin Casino offers a little bit of everything here including slots, video poker, and table games.
They have a live dealer casino, too. Their live games come from Evolution and Ezugi, who are heavy hitters in the live gaming space. The result is a robust selection of live games. We’ll look at these later.
The one confusing aspect of their casino is that there are three sections — a casino, live casino, and Vegas (casino). We’re going to list some of their games below, but we’re only going to make a distinction between their animated and live dealer games.
We also noticed that their Vegas casino section doesn’t have any filters. You can’t select the type of games (slots, table games, video poker, etc.) that you want to see. This can make it tough to find the type of game you’re looking for unless you already know what it’s called.
The good news is that most, if not all, of their Vegas games, are also available in their main casino. This means there’s a chance you won’t need to visit the Vegas section at all.
Anyway, that covers the basics. Let’s now jump into each section and look at some specific examples of casino games you can play at Spin Casino.

Table Games

We’re going to start with Spin Casino’s table games. The following is a list of card and poker games that we found during our review.
  • Atlantic City Blackjack
  • Baccarat
  • Roulette
  • 3 Card Poker
  • Card Climber
  • Classic Blackjack
  • Craps
  • Double Exposure Blackjack
  • European Blackjack
  • European Roulette
  • Flip Card
  • High-Speed Poker
  • Hold’em High
  • Vegas Downtown Blackjack
  • Multi Wheel Roulette
  • Red Dog
  • Super Fun 21
  • Vegas Strip Blackjack
  • Spanish Blackjack
  • Triple Pocket Hold’em Poker
  • Cyberstud
  • And more!
There are both pluses and minuses to Spin Casino’s table game section. We’ll start with the downsides.
The most frustrating thing about their table games is that there’s no way to filter for specific games in the Vegas section. This can make it incredibly tough to find the games you want to play unless you already know what they’re called.
Another thing we were sort of unimpressed with is the lack of non-blackjack and roulette games. There are not enough games to offset all the blackjack and roulette options.
However, that brings us to one of the good things about their table game selection. They have lots of blackjack and roulette games.
In fact, you’ll find more than 30 blackjack games and more than 10 roulette games. Some of these are merely high-stakes variants or duplicate titles with improved graphics. Even discounting those, you’d be hard-pressed to find a better selection elsewhere.
Another thing we’re fans of is some of the unique games that you’ll find at Spin Casino that aren’t readily available elsewhere. For example, we can’t think of another casino that offers Triple Pocket Hold’em, Hold’em High, or Card Climber.
That’s always a good thing.
Table Game Testing, Graphics, and Stakes
Once we were done browsing their games, we opened a few of them up to make sure they worked well and to see what their graphics and stakes are like.
The graphics for the games we tested are pretty good. They’re not glossy, overly polished, or even realistic. They look more like animated games. There’s nothing wrong with that, though.
They don’t make it clear the stakes you can play for. We had to manually decrease and increase our bets to figure out the limits. The stakes we found varied from $2/hand or round to as much as $1,000. But keep in mind that this may vary depending on the game you play.
These aren’t bad limits — they’re higher than what many casinos offer. No t only that, but we also anticipated their live dealer casino offering even higher stakes. This means that we’re less concerned about how high the stakes are in this section of their casino.
We’ll look at their live dealer section in a few minutes.

Video Poker

The next section we checked out was Spin Casino’s video poker games. Here are the games we found during our review.
  • Aces & Eights Poker
  • Aces and Faces
  • All Aces Poker
  • Deuces Wild Poker
  • Deuces Wild Bonus Poker
  • Double Double Bonus Poker
  • Jacks or Better Poker
  • All American
  • Bonus Poker
  • Deuces & Joker Poker
  • Joker Poker
  • Louisiana Double Poker
  • Tens or Better Poker
This is an okay selection. On top of this, you’ll find “power,” “multi-hand,” and “Gold Series” variants that you can also choose from. We counted nearly 25 poker games in their main casino.
There are video poker machines in the Vegas section too, but we didn’t find anything different than what’s listed above.
Testing Their Games, Graphics, and Stakes
We tested a couple of their poker games during our review.
The games we played had average graphics, but that’s to be expected with video poker machines. They’re not meant to be fancy. They worked great, though. We experienced no lagging or bugs.
Some of them had neat features, too. For example, the machines we played offered the chance to double your winnings. When you make a winning hand, you can click the “double” button to play a mini-game to see if you can double up. Keep in mind that if you lose this game, you lose everything.
The best feature, though, had to be the automatic hold. Many video poker machines will tell you when you made a winning hand so that you don’t forget to hold those cards. However, one of the machines we played automatically held the best cards according to the common video poker strategy.
Now, we don’t know what strategy these machines are using or how optimal that strategy is. However, they did hold the cards we would have had this feature not existed. This is a neat option if you’re new to video poker and aren’t sure how to play optimally.
As far as stakes go, we found machines that let us play for as little as $0.25 per coin to as much as $50 per round. We recommend you bet the max number of coins, though, which means your minimum bet will be $1.25. This will vary from machine to machine, though.
Overall, we liked Spin Casino’s video poker section. We’d like to see more unique titles to choose from, but our opinion is that this lineup will work for most people reading this.

Slots

Next up is Spin Casino’s slot selection. They have far too many slot machines to list here, but here is a small sample to give you an idea of what you’ll be able to play.
  • 5 Reel Drive
  • Snow & Sable
  • Amazing Aztecs
  • Book of Oz
  • Cashville
  • Cash of Kingdoms
  • Diamond Empire
  • Dolphin Coast
  • Fruit vs Candy
  • Halloween
  • Girls with Guns
  • Game of Thrones
  • Highlander
  • Jurassic World
  • Lady in Red
  • Kings of Cash
  • Hitman
  • Lost Vegas
  • Lucky Koi
  • Oink Country Love
  • Pretty Kitty
  • Moby Dick
  • Monster Wheels
  • Robin of Sherwood
  • Silver Fang
  • So Much Sushi
  • The Great Albini
  • The Phantom of the Opera
  • Tomb Raider
  • Win Sum Dim Sum
  • Fat Lady Sings
  • Jekyll & Hyde
  • Jurassic Park
  • The Legend of Olympus
  • Throne of Egypt
  • Steam Punk Heroes
  • Winning Wizards
  • Untamed Bengal Tiger
  • Old King Cole
  • And more!
You’ll find all these slots in the main casino. There are plenty more where this comes from too. You’ll also find more slots — including unique titles not found in the main casino — inside the Vegas section.
That said, their selection of slots is much smaller than we expected considering that they work with Microgaming. We still can’t complain, though, especially after seeing some of the titles that you can play here.
For example, the slots that stood out to us are the licensed/branded slots. Licensed slots are machines that revolve around IP that other companies own. This includes movies (Jurassic Park), video games (Hitman), TV shows (Game of Thrones), and more.
These are fun to play because it’s highly likely that you’re going to be a fan of whatever the slot machine is about. For example, we like Jurassic Park. This means we get to kill two birds with one stone — play slots about a theme we really like.
Not only that, but you can play many of these slot machines in brick-and-mortar casinos. We’ve played Game of Thrones countless times during our trips to Las Vegas.
And this is just the licensed slots. You still have all the other slots that Spin Casino has to offer. This includes slots with bonus rounds, 3 and 5 reels, progressive jackpots, and features such as free spins, wilds, scatters, and more.
As for stakes, they vary so much that it’s hard to give concrete numbers. That said, we found machines that allowed us to play for as little as $0.10/spin to as much as $200. Most of the machines we looked at maxed out at $30 or less, though. This means that you might have to do some digging to find the machines with higher limits.
Overall, while Spin Casino’s slot section can definitely be bigger given that they’re powered by Microgaming, what they do have will be more than enough for most people.

  • Baccarat Super 6
  • Evolution Party Table
This is a solid selection of live games, especially when compared to other online casinos. But that’s not a surprise since some of these games come from Evolution Gaming, who’s a heavy hitter in the live gaming space.
Once you click on one of these games, you’ll be redirected to a section where you’ll find several tables to choose from (depending on the game). You’ll also find a navigation bar at the top with several filters to help you quickly find the game you want to play.
The lowest stakes we found for these games is $5 for blackjack. This is sort of a bummer since some live blackjack games can be played for as little as $1. However, $5 is pretty standard for a live game, so it’s not something we can hold against them.
You can play some of their other games, like baccarat or roulette, for $0.10-$1 per round.
The highest stakes we found were $5,000 for blackjack, $2,000 for roulette, and as much as $5,000 for everything else. These aren’t th highest stakes online, but they should work for most people.
One of the most impressive things about their games is the camera work. The different angles they use and the close-ups make it look like you’re watching a movie. Depending on the game, you can also change the camera option. For example, the roulette game lets you choose from 3D, immersive, or classic camera angles
The streams were very good considering how good the camera work was. We noticed a few lags, but they didn’t take away from the game much. The resolution was pretty good regardless.
Other features include the option to chat with your tablemates and the dealer, adjust the sound and camera angles, bet behind, and set up automatic actions. You can even multi-table several games at once.
Overall, we’re impressed with the live dealer casino at Spin Casino. You’ll have plenty of games to choose from, stakes, features, and men and women dealers that speak different languages.
We recommend you check it out.

The Sportsbook

Spin Casino is unique from some of the other casinos under The Palace Group brand in that they also have a sportsbook. It’s called Spin Sports.
Here’s what you can expect to find if you choose to bet here.

Sports, Market, and Betting Options

Spin Sports has an excellent selection of sports that you can bet on. Here’s what we found during our review.
  • Soccer
  • Basketball
  • Tennis
  • Ice Hockey
  • American Football
  • Handball
  • Volleyball
  • Cricket
  • Rugby Union
  • Rugby League
  • Esports
  • Specials
  • Virtual Sports
  • Boxing
  • Gold
  • Badminton
  • Winter Sports
  • MMA
  • Darts
  • Snooker and Pool
  • Baseball
  • Cycling
  • Motor Racing
  • Speedway
  • Floorball
  • Table Tennis
  • Bandy
  • Aussie Rules
  • Surfing
  • Netball
  • Gaelic Football
  • Gaelic Hurling
  • Super Spin Specials
Many of these options have dropdown menus, too.
For example, click on the soccer option, and a dropdown menu containing options such as England, Europe, Spain, Italy, and Germany will appear. This goes for many of the other options, too — you’ll find countries as subcategories. You’ll need to click on these to find the different leagues that play in those countries.
Your betting options will obviously depend on the sport you bet on. We found plenty of choices, though. For example, you can bet outrights or money lines for Europa basketball. You’ll find spread betting, more money lines, oveunder, and outrights for NBA games.
Click on a match, and you’ll find additional markets. For example, we checked out an NBA game and found options to bet on different quarters, total points, team points per quarter or half, overtime, and more.
There are plenty of betting options here, which was a surprise, honestly, considering who’s running this sportsbook.

Live Betting

Spin Sports also offers live sports betting.
When we were there, you could bet on soccer, basketball, tennis, ice hockey, and cricket. We wouldn’t be surprised if they covered more matches than this (when those games are available).
In fact, we know that’s the case since we looked at their Event View and Live Schedule tabs. This is where you’ll see all the sports you can bet on, all the matches, and the number of betting opportunities available for each one.
And that’s about it for their live sportsbook. The one thing we’d really like to see added in the future is the option to watch live streams. It’d make sense to add a racebook too.
Here’s hoping that Spin Sports has both items on their to-do list.

Final Thoughts

Spin Sports is a much better sportsbook than we expected. It’s hard to expect something this impressive from a company that has been running only casinos for more than a decade.
We’re fans, though. There are plenty of sports and markets to bet on. You also have your standard options for betting in American, fractional, or decimal odds, as well as using the sportsbook in different languages.
That said, there is room for improvement. They could add a racebook, live streaming, and additional features and build out their esports section.
But we think they’ve done a good job so far, and it’ll be more than enough for your typical casino player or recreational bettor.

Banking Options

Something we noticed during our review is that there’s the option to deposit inside both the casino and the sportsbook. As far as we can tell, it looks like you’ll want to deposit to the section you plan to spend your time in.
In other words, if you want to bet sports, you’ll want to deposit to your sportsbook account. If you want to play blackjack or slots, you’ll want to make your deposit to the casino.
The good news is that it looks like the same banking options are accepted in both sections. Find an option that works for you, and you can use it in both places.
When we reviewed Spin Casino, we didn’t find any evidence that suggests they charge fees on their deposits. This is great news. However, it’s not clear whether they charge fees on withdrawals.
As for limits, you can cash out as much as €4,000 per week if the amount you’re trying to cash out is more than 5x the amount that you’ve deposited over the life of your account. Otherwise, it looks like you can cash out as much as £10,000 in a 24-hour period.
This will depend on the banking option you use, of course.
Progressive jackpots are exempt from these rules, which is great to see. It’s no surprise, though, considering that they work with Microgaming.
That wraps up their banking details. The following two sections will list the banking methods you can use to fund and cash out your account.

Deposits

  • Visa
  • Visa Electron
  • Mastercard
  • Maestro
  • Neteller
  • iDebit
  • Trustly

Bonus Promotions

You can claim a few promotions as a customer of Spin Casino and Spin Sports. The following sections summarize the offers you can claim and the terms you need to fulfill if you do.

Spin Casino Promotions

The following are offers that you’ll find under the promotions tab on the casino side of things.

New Player Bonus

This is an offer available to first-time customers. Spin Casino is offering a 100% match bonus of up to $1,000. It’s spread out over your first three deposits like this.
  • First Deposit – 100% match up to $400
  • Second Deposit – 100% match up to $300
  • Third Deposit – 100% match up to $300
This is a nice offer because you have multiple opportunities to claim as much as you can. It’s especially helpful for players on a budget who can’t deposit $1,000 in one shot.
You will need to roll over this bonus 50x, though the playthrough will depend on the casino game you play. We recommend reading their terms if you plan to play a game other than slots.
The downside to this offer is that if you do happen to complete the playthrough with money to spare, and you want to withdraw it, cash-outs will be limited to 100 casino credits. You’ll forfeit the rest of the bonus.
That being the case, it might make more sense to play the bonus (and lose money) until you only have 100 credits left. Then make a withdrawal if you want. That way, you can enjoy the bonus money/winnings for as long as possible.
And that’s all they have for bonus offers. Spin Casino does say that they offer bonuses on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis. We have no idea what those offers look like, though.
While we were there, we did notice that they have a “bonus wheel.” You spin the wheel, and you can earn prizes, such as bonuses to claim. It looks like you can spin the wheel once every couple of hours.
This is pretty neat.

Loyalty Club

Spin Casino also offers a loyalty club. This is a multi-tier program that awards more perks the higher your status.
This program has six levels.
  • Blue
  • Silver
  • Gold
  • Platinum
  • Diamond
  • Privé
As you ascend, you’ll receive additional perks such as bonus points, more entry points, exclusive tournaments, VIP support, phone support, and exclusive gifts and bonuses.
You can receive monthly bonuses too. Climb the ladder to the very top of their VIP program, and you can receive more than $10,000 every month in bonuses.
Getting to each tier is straightforward — you need to earn so many points to reach a specific status, and then so many points to maintain that status each month. You’ll earn 1 point for every $10 you spend in the casino.
We recommend you read their promotions page to determine for sure if this program will be a good fit for you. But if we understand their points setup and minimum point requirements correctly, then this looks like a good program to use — even for low-stakes players!

Spin Sports Promotions

You’ll need to be in the sportsbook section in order to find their sports betting promotions. The following are the promotions we found during our review, including what you can get and the terms you need to fulfill.
Free Bet – First-time sports bettors will be able to claim a free bet bonus. This is a 100% match up to $200. To claim the offer, deposit at least $10.
This offer has a 5x rollover ($1,000 if you claim the entire $200) before you can withdraw any winnings. We recommend you read their terms and conditions for their other rules, as you’ll need to abide by odd minimums/maximums when you make your bets.
And that’s the only offer we found for sports bettors during our review.
This isn’t a bad offer by any means. That said, it would be great if they had a few other promotions running. It’d be nice to see some kind of cashback or rebate offer or additional bonuses.
But as the saying goes, something is better than nothing.

Mobile Friendliness

Both Spin Casino and Spin Sports are mobile-friendly. You don’t need to download any apps. All you need to do is go to the casino or sportsbook from your phone or tablet and log in. You’ll be able to play all games and make bets from your browser.
It looks like you’ll have the full sportsbook at your disposal. And considering that they work with Microgaming and Evolution Gaming, we wouldn’t be surprised if most or even all of their casino games are available.

Customer Support

You can use the following options to contact Spin Casino.
The email address above is addressed to the parent company of Spin Casino. The issue with that is they manage several other casinos.
For that reason, we recommend that you make it clear that you’re a Spin Casino customer when you contact them. That way, you eliminate any confusion and reduce the chances of any unnecessary back and forth.
We were disappointed to see that they don’t offer phone support despite saying they do in multiple places throughout their website.
That said, phone support still isn’t a standard communication method offered by online gambling sites. It wouldn’t be fair if we held the lack of phone support against Spin Casino.
Besides, you can contact them 24/7 using the methods above. We sent Spin Casino an email, and we were surprised to receive a response less than two hours later. They answered our questions, too.
That’s better than the average casino for sure. For that reason, we give Spin Casino’s support two virtual thumbs up.

Deadset's All Characters Cheat Sheet & Endgame Guide Compendium, Season 20 Edition

S20 COMMENTARY AND THOUGHTS

Greetings, /Diablo!
The time is nigh for yet another Season, this time themed as the Forbidden Archives. Its power, as many of you already know, allows you to use any Kanai's extracted power in any slot of the Cube, which can result in three weapon powers, three armor powers, three jewelry powers, or any combination or ratio of these that you can think of.
The seasonal theme for S20 is decently flavorful, but deceptive in its depth - in reality, most builds in Diablo 3 post-RoS and Kanai's addition are pre-designed with the addition of a specific weapon, armor and jewelry power in mind, which are not easy to deviate from - especially for solo players. (I'm not the only one who feels this way - you can hear wudijo's excellent thoughts on the subject here and here ). Interestingly, we are about to see a repeat of S19's case where the class without a new set (Barb back then) becomes the most played one due to other circumstances; this time around, it will be the Necromancer, due to their ability to stack weapon powers.
This naturally leaves the question for the current state of the new sets, and while not as overwhelmingly powerful as the ones introduced in S19 (Valor and Patterns), they still provide interesting options to build around, or at least have a break from the usual builds in S20. The Wizard's Typhon's Veil is the least desirable of the additions due to its lacking numbers and bare mechanics, to a point where it struggles to compete with its own LoD variant, let alone a GR pushing staple like the Vyr Archon. That being said, you can absolutely play a very appealing LoD Hydra build with the reworked legendary items.
The Horde of the Ninety Savages set is a solid addition to the Barbarian roster, and will see a lot of S20 play. A huge part of the reason is its 2-piece power necessitating its inclusion in Support setups, but used in its 6-piece entirety it also provides a very capable speed farming setup, a decent and easy-to-grasp non-competitive GR solo pushing setup, and an exotic, yet quite capable Rift Guardian Killer variant. I encourage you to look at Rob2628 's experimentation on the subject if you haven't - the build's wobbly survivability is not an issue when played in the right circumstances and tiers.
The Mundunugu Spirit Barrage Witch Doctor is the strongest of the new additions, and arguably one of the strongest builds in the game right now, especially for soloing. I definitely plan on dusting off my WD for the season despite the potential for Necro shenanigans, and if you are interested in delving deep into the Spirit Barrage mechanics I can only encourage you to look into fellow theorycrafter svr90 's reasearch on the topic; it's a fascinating read that shed much light on how Spirit Barrage is used to this day.
Have a great Season 20, and as always - happy hunting!
-Deadset

>>LIST OF DETAILED GUIDES EVERY CLASS AND EVERY ACTIVITY<<

(No, really!)

EMERGENCY ADDITION: STARTING DIABLO WITHOUT THE BNET.CLIENT

To avoid the error that currently plagues the launcher (BLZBNTBNA00000005 error) and log into Diablo despite the ongoing issues, follow the steps below:
  1. Create a shortcut to your Diablo .exe file (not the launcher .exe). You should use the 64-bit version in /x64 if you normally use this version.
  2. Go into the properties of the .exe and edit the shortcut target.
  3. Add " -launch", including the space at the start, but without quotation marks. Save your changes and use the shortcut - Diablo 3 will start up shortly afterwards.
  4. You will need to log in with your account details and, if you have an Authenticator, you will need to enter the code manually.
  5. Make sure to double check the region you are logging into with the options menu on the log-in screen.

GETTING STARTED THIS SEASON

We can clearly see an influx of new and returning players - people looking for guidance and advice on early crafting, gambling, and character building foundations. This is my attempt to convey as much information as I can in a single thread.
At the very start of the Season, your first job is, naturally, to create a new seasonal hero. While this first choice does not lock you down too terribly, note that the Seasonal Journey rewards you once per Season - only for the character that completes the chapters first. Bearing that in mind, pick your character and go in game.
While in town, approach one of the followers that most closely matches your class (Templar for Barbarians, Monks and Crusaders, Scoundrel for Demon Hunters, and Enchantress for Witch Doctors, Necromancers and Wizards), select the "Inventory & Skills" option, take their weapon and equip it yourself - it is a significant upgrade over the base weapon that you start with.
Note that once you reach level 7, vendors in all towns - the ones with the nickname "the Fence" in their names - will start selling rings. Each of them has a chance to sell rings that increase your Average Damage (i.e. 2-4 Damage), which is a massive DPS boost early on.

Challenge Rift Completion and Kanai's Cube

After your character is created, head to the Game Settings menu, go into the Challenge Rifts and start the current weekly run. Note that you have to have completed at least one Greater Rift on your account (either in non-seasonal or previous seasons) to have Challenge Rifts unlocked. Challenge Rifts are a weekly challenge that provides a fixed character and a build (usually using quirky skills and/or heavily unoptimized stats and items), and challenges you to beat the Greater Rift completion time of its original owner.
The completion of the Challenge Rift is usually trivial and can be completed either solo or in a group, and will net you a Challenge Rift Reward cache. Open it up in-game with your brand new seasonal character and claim its contents: Death's Breaths, a couple hundred of each of the base crafting materials, Blood Shard, a couple million gold, and 15 each of the Act-specific bounty cache materials. With your newfound riches, upgrade both your Blacksmith and your Mystic craftsmen in town to their maximum rank.
Your next important step is to acquire Kanai's Cube. Kanai's Cube is found in The Ruins of Sescheron - the waypoint in the top right corner of the Act III map. From that waypoint, run left towards the city and make your way around the ruins; one of its far corners (typically upper right, lower right, or lower left) will have the entrance to the next zone, the Elder Sanctum. Once in the Elder Sanctum, make your way through the zone, practically to its other end. When you find the Cube and click it, it automatically transports itself back to town.
While you are at it, take a look at the Kanai's Cube guide for additional details on its use - it is an incredibly important part of your character progression at any point of the game, so make sure to acquaint yourself thoroughly with its properties.

Which Item to Craft and Extract in the Cube?

One of the strongest early game boosts that you can obtain while leveling is to craft a yellow (rare) level 70 item at the blacksmith, then try to upgrade it into a valuable legendary at Kanai's Cube, and finally extract its property for one of the Kanai's Cube legendary power slots. Note that this strategy is stronger for some classes over others, particularly favoring Demon Hunters, Necromancers, and somewhat Barbarians. The remaining classes can skip this step and directly go to gambling, sparing themselves some disappointment and saving some materials for level 70, since you can do this recipe exactly once at the Season's start (you only have so many Death's Breaths).
When choosing which rare item to craft, keep in mind that you are looking to upgrade them into a legendary that provides some form of skill damage multiplier that will skyrocket your leveling efficiency. Every class has a different set of valuable items to attempt for:

Barbarian:

Crusader:

Demon Hunter:

Monk:

Necromancer:

Witch Doctor:

Wizard:

Note that this part of the leveling strategy requires some amount of luck for non-DH and non-Necromancer players. Leveling in a group minimizes the risk of RNG screwing everyone over, but sometimes you will be unlucky; this is nothing to be bothered by, as leveling in Diablo is still a fairly easy and straightforward process.
If you are lucky, however, and obtain one of the items outlined above, you will have just about enough Death's Breaths to use the Extract Legendary Power recipe in Kanai's Cube. Do that, and then slot the (now maximized) legendary power of the item in the Cube, netting yourself a considerable leveling bonus. Needless to say, adjust your build accordingly to the legendary power, i.e. if you get Guard of Johanna as a Crusader, make Blessed Hammer your main damage dealing skill throughout leveling.

Spending the Challenge Rift Blood Shards

Your next step is to try and gamble for valuable items from Kadala at level 1. Since not every legendary is available right from the start, the legendary item pools for some classes are restricted in a beneficial way to obtain another strong damage multiplier right from the start. If you do not consider the legendaries listed for your class particularly attractive, you can always gamble for Helms for a considerable chance at obtaining Leoric's Crown; extracting its power and socketing rubies in your helmets throughout leveling will net you a hefty amount of extra experience.

Barbarian:

Crusader:

Demon Hunter:

Monk:

Necromancer:

Witch Doctor:

Wizard:

Crafting a High Level Rare and Reducing Level Requirement

Pick a two-handed weapon category of your choice (2h Axes, Maces, Swords...) and craft a level 70 weapon of the chosen type. Avoid class-specific weapons, since they add a class-specific roll to the secondary stat pool (i.e. Max Fury), making this strat harder. You are looking for a roll with:
If both these stats are present, you have eliminated a large part of the possible Secondary stats on the weapon. Thus, you can easily reroll the other Secondary stat (the one that is NOT the crowd control stat) into Reduced Level Requirement - making the item wearable up to 30 levels prior to level 70. This is a tremendous damage increase for a large chunk of your leveling process.
Of course, if you are very lucky, the Reduced Level Requirement can roll onto your crafted item outright.

Complete a Boss Bounty

An easy early boost to your character in Seasons is to check your bounties for any easily completed act boss killing bounties - the most famous examples being Zoltun Kulle (at the Archives of Zoltun Kulle waypoint) and Maghda (down from the Road to Alcarnus waypoint) in Act II. Another option is Azmodan at the very end of Act III. Simply run past the mobs and go straight for the boss kill.
The boss bounties reward you with a Diabolic Hoard chest that is guaranteed to drop you a couple of rare items; they will boost your overall character power nicely right at the beginning.

LEVELING UP

And this is it! You've made it to the actual leveling part! :) You have three major options:

Torment VI Traps Method

Turn the difficulty up to Torment VI and go to the Halls of Agony Level 1. Run and dodge past monsters that come in your way until you reach the falling blades traps; there, lure the monsters towards these traps and watch as they get slaughtered, netting you tremendous experience.
This method, while extremely efficient time-wise, is also (arguably) quite unfun and counter-intuitive, not to mention prone to mishaps. Needless to say, this strategy is not Hardcore-friendly and will result in the (frequent) death of your character.

Via Massacre Bonus

You can also consider leveling via Massacre bonuses — a very potent strategy in solo play. The Massacre bonus XP system was revised in Patch 2.4.1 into a multiplicative experience bonus that rewards you for chaining kills of monsters. The caveat is this bonus only works in bounties - and not during Rifts.
To successfully pull of long chains of monster kills, pick highly populated zones - the Cathedral (Act I), Halls of Agony Level 3 (Act I), and, most notably, Fields of Misery (Act I). The tactic is to always be on the move, leading monsters into one another, abusing Cursed Chests for monster spawns, and generally using skills with DoTs or high AoE (Rend for Barbarian, Blessed Hammer for Crusader, Multishot for Demon Hunter, Wave of Light for Monk, Locust Swarm for Witch Doctors, Blizzard for Wizards).
While Massacre leveling will require frequent restarts of the game (every 5-10 minutes), it will result in some of the fastest leveling in Diablo 3, clocking under the 2 hour mark when you get the hang of it. Due to its individual nature and the level of coordination required to pull it off in a multiplayer game, leveling by Massacre bonuses can only be recommended for 2+ players if they are experienced and have voice communication; this is predominantly a solo leveling technique. It also has the considerable downside of losing the increased legendary drop rate and blood shards of rifting.

Via Rifting

For groups and players that do not stress losing an hour in the 1-70 race, the general recommendation is to stick to rifts for the 1-70 journey. Rifts grant you increased legendary drop rate, blood shards for gambling, and a hefty "hand-in" bonus at the end. While rifting has a higher degree of randomness than bounties (map layout, monster density and composition are all RNG), the removal of Rift Keystones as a requirement to open them allows you to simply remake if you get a bad (difficult or slow) rift.

ENDGAME HIGHLIGHTS FOR SEASON 20

Now that you have made it here, what do you have to look forward to? :)

BARBARIANS

Haedrig's Gift Beginner Build: Immortal King's Call
A guide that will take you through the leveling process efficiently and optimize your seasonal Barbarian. Some of my personal endgame build highlights for this Season include:

Wrath of the Wastes - Rend
Built from the ashes of a very old Rend/IK mixture, the Rend Wastes Barbarian truly shows the potential and terror of this DoT build. An unstoppable machine that whirls, cleaves and guts demons like Barbarians were always meant to do. With the newfound powers of Ambo's Pride, this build bleeds his enemies dry in an instant, turning what was once an unassuming bleed into a fearsome nuke that gets applied every second. Couple that with the savage elegance of Whirlwinding, and it's no wonder people will return to this build time and again when it comes to Barb progression.

Might of the Earth - Seismic Slam
Always underappreciated, but always ready to pounce from the shadows and deliver, the Earthquake set has been quietly sitting very close to the leaderboard's top through a select few, but very devout Barbarian players. In Season 19, we finally have Seismic Slam the way it should always have been - a thunderous mid-range devastator, the perfected counterpart of its older EQ cousin. With the reworked Fjord Cutter, this build is quite the underrated powerhouse.

CRUSADERS

Haedrig's Gift Beginner Build: Seeker of the Light
A guide that will take you through the leveling process efficiently and optimize your seasonal Crusader. Some of my personal endgame build highlights for this Season include:

Aegis of Valor - Heaven's Fury Shotgun
One of the two new sets from Season 20 ascended Crusaders to a whole new level, and evoked the times when the Holy Shotgun was considered OP, because it was the only Reaper of Souls build that demolished T6. Hundreds of millions of damage and health spikes later, this (un)holy amalgamation of items delivers a mixture of Fist of the Heavens and Heaven's Fury Shotgun shots with righteous ferocity that have earned this build the one rigthful nickname: God Crusader. In short, it's pretty damn OP, even with the Season 20 nerfs.

Aegis of Valor - Fist of the Heavens
Not as strong as its counterpart, but just as satisfying - the Fist of the Heavens visuals are undeniable - and one of the best Crusader farming builds out there, again courtesy of the new Aegis of Valor Crusader. Mount up, descend into battle and demolish screens full of demons with violent, electrified arcs covering the entire battlefield? What more could you ask for?

DEMON HUNTERS

Haedrig's Gift Beginner Build: Natalya's Vengeance
A guide that will take you through the leveling process efficiently and optimize your seasonal Demon Hunter. Some of my personal endgame build highlights for this Season include:

Natalya - Rapid Fire
The emergence of the Rapid Fire build finally brought the close range, Tommy gun-like fantasy of the Demon Hunter class to life - all in a destructive, methodical playstyle that isn't afraid to get into the thick of fights and chaingun-and-grenade its way out. With its focus on channeled destruction, the Natalya set is the other perfect home for this build, aside from the traditional LoD take on it - and a very high performing build, too. With Natalya's Vengeance being the free set in Season 20, it's a good time to give this build... a whirl. ;)

Shadow - Impale
The ninja-like, assassin playstyle of Shadow Impale ramps up in power so fast, that it often sits at the top of the leaderboard for a week, waiting for slower builds to catch up. Impale DHs vault in, plant a dagger in an elite's back (usually ending its life outright), and then disappear in the shadows, onto their next target. The build has grown to include the Aughild set for additional elite devastation, making it one of the ultimate 'hunting' styles in the game.

MONKS

Haedrig's Gift Beginner Build: Uliana's Stratagem
A guide that will take you through the leveling process efficiently and optimize your seasonal Monk. Some of my personal endgame build highlights for this Season include:

Patterns of Justice - Tempest Rush
Rooting its powers firmly in the TR-dedicated Patterns of Justice set, this alternate take on Tempest Rushing gives its Sunwuko brother an equal competitor. The set empowers Sweeping Wind to astronomical proportions, stacking all the runes and swelling the vortex of destruction to a veritable cyclone.

Sunwuko - Tempest Rush
Empowered by a slew of changes to its core items, the Tempest Rush Monk offers one of the most fluid, easy-to-grasp and satisfying endgame playstyles, one that draws monsters in helpless piles and alternates periods of sustain damage with carefully calculated bursts of cold destruction. I've been looking for a relaxing, chill Monk endgame build for a while, and this is their perfect answer to Whirlwind Barbs.

NECROMANCERS

Haedrig's Gift Beginner Build: Trag'Oul's Avatar
A guide that will take you through the leveling process efficiently and optimize your seasonal Necromancer. Some of my personal endgame build highlights for this Season include:

Legacy of Dreams - Poison Nova
This folks, is the One You Get To Play Once. The existence and viability of this build relies entirely on the Season 20 bonus, and with the stack of weapon powers towering its burst damage to ridiculous proportions, this poisonous obliterator will lead to some of the most spectacular GR clears this Season, rest assured.

Legacy of Dreams - Singularity
Love them or hate them, you can't deny Singularity Necromancer is one of the most ruthlessly effective summoner builds in the game; cold, calculating and intensive to play (both in terms of resource management and, befitting of Necromancers, frailty of the character). Replacing The Legacy of Nightmares for that of Dreams, Singularity Necros stay at the peak of their offensive power through Convention of Elements, Krysbin and the Circle of Nailuj rings.

Legacy of Dreams - Coprse Lance
The Corpse Lance Necromancer is a highly mobile, bursty, timing-oriented spec that bides its time and Lances everything into oblivion once Land of the Dead reaches the lands of the living. This is certainly one of the more divisive playstyles in terms of enjoyment, but once its cooldowns line up, you cannot deny its power. It can also be adapted into a Poisonous variation for Rift Guardian killing for non-Crusader parties, which shouldn't be underestimated!

WITCH DOCTORS

Haedrig's Gift Beginner Build: Spirit of Arachyr
A guide that will take you through the leveling process efficiently and optimize your seasonal Witch Doctor. Some of my personal endgame build highlights for this Season include:

Mundunugu Spirit Barrage
The Mundunugu set empowers one of the most visually satisfying builds of Witch Doctors, Spirit Barrage, to a ridiculously powerful level that will (barring any unexpected changes) seal the WD's spot in group play for much longer than the flavor-of-month Poison Nova will for Necros. To top it all off, this build is very versatile across all game activities, and can be adapted to everything from bounties, through keyfarm and speeds, to high end solo and group pushing as the Trash Killer. My personal pick for S20.

Zunimassa - Carnevil DoD
The Carnevil Witch Doctor summons an army of swarming minions at his side, whose adorable mimicking of his blowdart attack - and positively horrifying attack speed - are a sight to behold. This has been a long time coming; Zunimassa has been building up in power over the course of a few patches, with set and item changes that slowly inched it up in viability. Season 19 will see the continued domination of this build, with the Zuni Fetishes empowered by the craftable Aughild set (fitting just right into the vacant slots of the setup) and the Attack Speed madness of Echoing Fury in the Cube.

Jade Harvester WD
With power to match his imposing name, the Jade Harvester is a force to be reckoned with - crippling the enemies with damage over time effects, and then recklessly diving in to 'consume' and apply their entire duration instantly with a well placed Soul Harvest. This build now benefits from the Captain Crimson craftable set, as well as The Flavor of Time amulet, keeping it high in the WD pantheon of builds.

WIZARDS

Haedrig's Gift Beginner Build: Vyr's Amazing Arcana
A guide that will take you through the leveling process efficiently and optimize your seasonal Wizard. Some of my personal endgame build highlights for this Season include:

Legacy of Dreams - Mammoth Hydra
The Mammoth Hydra playstyle brings the tankier - and more potent - version of the Hydra playstyle in Season 20, as well as the triumphant return to viability for the summoner Wizard. If you are looking for a straightforward, durable and classic-feeling Wizard build for a change of pace from the hectic Archon staple, I would look no further than this one.

Typhon's Veil - Frost Hydra
Of course, the set-based version of Hydras is still a very capable build in its own right, just undertuned to where it should be if it aims to be a competitive Wizard playstyle. Don't let that discourage you for more casual play however, as it is more than capable of clearing the vast majority of Diablo content, and its multi-headed Hydra focus allows for more fun and experimentation to the Mammoth Hydra adherence of its LoD counterpart.

Vyr - Archon
Transforming the Wizard into an unstoppable being of Arcane destruction, the Achon build simply has it all - power, mobility, versatility. For the modest investment of two relatively easy-to-obtain sets - Vyr and Chantodo - this build will take you into the highest of Greater Rifts, and with a relatively simple to grasp playstyle to boot. This remains one of the strongest builds you could go for on a Wizard, and has an excellent character power-to-time-invested ratio.

Thank you so much for reading this and my guides! Good luck and have a great Season 20!
