Roadblock 1: Teams go to the Stratosphere hotel where the chosen team member must ride all three rides on the Stratosphere Tower looking for a clue that will lead them to 1 of 3 hotels on the Strip (Paris, Cosmopolitan, and Planet Hollywood). Once one of the clues is found they must tell the ride operator what hotel to receive their next clue.
Roadblock 2: Once teams arrive to their hotel the person that did not do the last roadblock must go into the casino of their chosen hotel and find a poker table that is covered in poker chips. Team members must look through the poker chips to find 12 chips (representing the 10 regular legs and both halves of the super leg) that have images of things they encountered on each leg of the race, however there are 12 chips with images of things that were not encountered on the race that are meant to throw team members off. Once the team member gets all 12 correct chips they must show them to the dealer so that they can receive the clue to the finish line.
Finish Line clue: Where the Grand Canyon and Silver states are joined. Answer: Hoover Dam.
Additional task: Upon arrival in Las Vegas teams must make their way to the Coca-Cola Store where they will order and drink the International Tray to receive their next clue.

An improvement to the debugger allows more cheats in games with encrypted program ROMs. Newly supported systems include the Galaxy Games StarPak 4 prototype (thanks to Keith Kolmos), Acchi Muite Hoi (a jan-ken-pon game), the HP 9845T computer, Tekken Card World, and Pirate Ship. This release also restores working support for Omori Popper, the driver rewrite having been completed just in time (the old driver had to be removed due to licensing issues). New clones includes the export release of Mach Breakers, an earlier world release of Rastan, the US release of Sonic Blast Man, and Up Maguila (a Spanish bootleg of Donkey Kong Jr.). Emulation improvements include improved netlist performance, a fix for classic Mac keyboard input, a fix for the Apple I cassette interface, and fixes for regressions in Thomson floppy support and Apollo SIO. The N-Sub driver now supports sound sample playback and the gradient generator simulation uses PROM data. There are also some fixes for bugs in the Intel MCS-51 and 8086 family CPUs. Of course that’s not all, and you get the source or Windows binaries from the download page and have a look yourself.

Today’s the day for our April MAME release, bringing some important fixes as well as the usual assortment of emulation improvements. A bug preventing multiple keys from being mapped to subdevice inputs has been fixed, which means you can now assign multiple keys to buttons in NeoGeo games and consoles/computers with controllekeyboard/mouse slots. Software loading has been reworked in this release, and the user-visible issues in 0.184 should be addressed. An improvement to the debugger allows more cheats in games with encrypted program ROMs. Newly supported systems include the Galaxy Games StarPak 4 prototype (thanks to Keith Kolmos), Acchi Muite Hoi (a jan-ken-pon game), the HP 9845T computer, Tekken Card World, and Pirate Ship. This release also restores working support for Omori Popper, the driver rewrite having been completed just in time (the old driver had to be removed due to licensing issues). New clones includes the export release of Mach Breakers, an earlier world release of Rastan, the US release of Sonic Blast Man, and Up Maguila (a Spanish bootleg of Donkey Kong Jr.). Emulation improvements include improved netlist performance, a fix for classic Mac keyboard input, a fix for the Apple I cassette interface, and fixes for regressions in Thomson floppy support and Apollo SIO. The N-Sub driver now supports sound sample playback and the gradient generator simulation uses PROM data. There are also some fixes for bugs in the Intel MCS-51 and 8086 family CPUs. Of course that’s not all, and you get the source or Windows binaries from the download page and have a look yourself.

Umbrella Corp. Airsoft - Summer Cup 2015 (video and pictures link inside)
In July of this year, Umbrella Corp. Airsoft ("UBCA") hosted our summer cup competition where over 40 players participated and competed. The theme for this competition was "bank heist". We went all out in our latest summer cup. Player cards were made, a "poker game" was played, stacks of UBCA funny money was printed and tons of fun was had. Furthermore, in every UBCA cup competition we make limited edition patches for the MVPs, winners and all participants. Team Drafting & Player Cards To ensure integrity and fair play, invitation to internal competitions were only extended to members and friends of UBCA. Two weeks prior to game day, teams were formed using the player cards and poker chips. Four to five player cards were dealt face up each round as community cards. Team captains then made blind bids where the highest bid received the first player card dealt, the second highest bid received the second player card dealt and so on. It was particularly difficult for captains when the player they wanted was either the second or third player card dealt. Tough decisions had to be made when two or more players that the captains targeted appeared in the same round when they could only get one player per round. To add to the difficulty, they also had limited chips. In the end, four teams of 10 to 11 players were formed after our UBCA casino/poker style drafting. Each player got to keep their player cards after the competition as a souvenir. A handful of players ordered complete sets to collect and one player got his set autographed. Photos of our player cards, poker chips and limited edition patches can be seen in our Facebook album. Bank Heist Mode Each team played against the other teams once. The game type played for this competition was respawn. Each time a player was hit, the player had to drop a stack of money along with all other stacks the "killed" player had collected before returning to the starting point to respawn. Dropped stacks of money can be picked up by players from either team. Each team had two "money vaults" to defend. Players worked together to loot the opposing team's money vaults and to collect money dropped from killed enemy players. Only money safely stored back in the team's own money vault counted towards the final score. The winning team was determined by the total money stolen across all games played. We released a highlights video from our summer cup competition. Champion patches were awarded to the members of the winning team and MVP patches were awarded to individual players who collected the most money. About Umbrella Corp. Airsoft We are a Hong Kong based airsoft group formed in 2011 and we currently have just under 60 members. We play once a week and welcome honest players of all skill level to join our games. A few of our players record our weekly games with their GoPros and regularly upload to our YouTube channel. We are looking forward to later this month where 30+ members of UBCA will be travelling to Taiwan simply to play airsoft.
